Transportation pollution is Vermont’s biggest source of carbon emissions so the transition to EVs is critical to meeting our GHG reduction goals. This panel will look at the environmental and economic impacts of Vermont’s dependence on gasoline. It will discuss what policymakers, utilities, communities, and other stakeholders should be doing to help the market move beyond early adopters, and how data-driven programs can supercharge the environmental, economic, and equity benefits of EV policies and deployment
